Synthetic surface (PVC) of Badminton court

As the name suggests, Synthetic Badminton court floorings have artificial materials as their source. They are designed keeping in mind the specific needs of the game’s modern format and are extremely player-friendly.

There are predominantly two types of synthetic badminton court flooring: PVC & Acrylic

PVC surface :

We offer PVC surfaces for outdoor badminton courts. These types of courts are popular to provide anti-slip properties. This type of flooring is more suitable for outdoor badminton courts as it has the ability to withstand any environmental changes.

PVC synthetic courts have good bounce and anti-slip properties and can be in the form of mats that can be easily laid and stored. These mats are separated into surface, middle, and lower mats; the surface mats are durable and anti-slip, the middle mats add stability, while the lower mats absorb shock and provide a bounce.

On this type of surface badminton shoes can produce good traction. Most tournament courts are wooden floors on which these kinds of mats are laid providing the advantages of both wood and PVU/PU courts. Therefore, this arrangement is the most widely preferred on professional circuits.

The process if installation :

A PVC buffer layer of 3.5mm thick is placed, after which a PVC wear-resistant coat is applied. After this fiberglass reinforced layer is placed above which 5mm thick UV layer is placed. This is more suitable for outdoor badminton courts.
