Dimensions: The standard size for a badminton court is 13.4m long and 6.1m wide, with a height of at least 6.1m. The court must also have a 1.98m clearance around the perimeter.

Flooring: The flooring should be made of wood, synthetic materials, or a combination of both. The surface should be non-slip, shock-absorbing, and able to provide good traction for quick movements.

Lighting: The court should have adequate lighting, with a minimum of 500 lux in the playing area and 300 lux in the surrounding areas.

Net: The net should be made of nylon or other suitable materials and should be 76cm high at the sides and 1.55m high at the center.

Posts: The posts should be made of metal or other suitable materials and should be firmly anchored to the floor.

Court markings: The court should have clearly marked lines that are 40mm wide, using contrasting colors to differentiate between the different zones.

Wall height: If the court is surrounded by walls, the walls should be at least 4.88m high to prevent the shuttlecock from getting stuck.

Ceiling height: The ceiling should be at least 6.1m high to allow for proper air circulation and to prevent players from hitting the ceiling.

Ventilation: The court should have adequate ventilation to ensure good air quality and prevent the buildup of humidity.

Sound insulation: To prevent noise disturbance to other areas, the court should have sound insulation measures in place, such as acoustic panels or sound-absorbing materials.
